Stepmania – Touhou Stepfile links

THIS SITE IS NO LONGER IN USE

For the Touhou Stepmania packs, please go to my new site at http://www.usuallydead.com/mima where you will find the old packs. (As well as some new ones, eventually)

As a result of a Youtube video hosted on Walfas.org, it turned out that an old zip I uploaded for a few people was in fact still going strong, and being passed around.

As a result, I’m uploading more, for everyone to get. I have 6 folders of (Mainly pure) Touhou music (There’s a few non-Touhou ones, gained by the lack of reading Japanese and just downloading everything I see.)

Keep your eyes open for updates.

  1. Hi, is the “Touhou Stepfiles 1” link the ZIP which contains folders such as “398”, “agame”, “bako” and “mmec” (and of course “gekiryu”)? I ask because I downloaded one about the same size as this a few weeks ago which contains these songs, but I’m not sure if it’s the same as the one here, because I deleted the ZIP and it was so long ago that the link’s been shoved out of the download history on my PSP so I can’t go back and check. >_<
(You know, it’s kind of a big download for what may be unnecessary)

I already said this on Walfas, but I’ll say it again – thanks very much for uploading these! =D

  2. Yep, it’s the same one. Same link, so yeah.

  3. The songs are awesome. You did mention that some songs would disappear and appear, depending on whether my computer’s locale is set to English or Japanese which is true but there was still tons of songs which is great. Thanks again for these =)

  4. i donwload stepfile 2 and i only have 4 songs but wen i look in to the file map there are more.
so what can i do to get it to see the rest ?

  5. As the other comment says, it’s probably that you need to change the locale of your computer in Control Panel -> Regional and Language settings, and then change non-unicode to Japanese on the 3rd tab.

  6. I really should login, no? I forgot my password. -.-

  7. changed regional settings to japanese. all language packs installed. still i cant see most of the songs, and also only 4 in touhou 2. in fact, when i change to japanese settings, 3 of the 4 tracks dont even play music anymore. could use some help ._.

  8. if you’re worried about the song not showing or the game stopping because it can’t understand japanese…… change the title of the folder and any sub files to english.
download a simfile pack and put it in your song folder.
    try running the game.
the loading screen will stop at the first file it can’t understand.
use the file path it displays to find the simfile and change its title (and mp3 or stepfile title if necessary) to english.
rinse and repeat till the game runs again.

  9. I’m gonna use this one for sure.
Till now I was using http://www.tubeleecher.com

  10. Thank you so much for your packs! 🙂

  11. Very soon this website will be famous among all blog viewers, due to it’s good content
